Telethon of Stars Welcomes Returning Entertainers

PADUCAH, KY - The Lions Club of Paducah, WPSD Local 6 and the Easter Seal Centers in KY, IL, TN and MO welcome their headline entertainment for the 56th Annual Telethon of Stars. Returning again this year are Reggie LaFaye, Eric Horner, and Lew Jetton & 61 South. The date for this year's event is November 10-11.
Reggie LaFaye is a completely self-taught musician. His five-decade career has taken form Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Bahamas, as well as throughout the United States. Reggie has performed at several Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada venues including Caesars’’ Palace, the Landmark Hotel and the MGM Grand Hotel. He has performed with personalities such as Little Richard, The Mandrells’, Reba McIntyre, Johnny Cash and Lee Greenwood. Reggie blends his blues and his R & B style into his own sound giving him the nickname “Mr. Smooth Sax”. After five decades, Reggie has retired from the grueling travel schedule and can now be found at Ristorante di Fratelli in Paducah most Saturday evenings. Growing up in Paducah, Eric Horner has spent most of his time playing and singing gospel music all over western Kentucky, southern Illinois and southeast Missouri. At the age of 19, Eric moved to Nashville Tennessee to pursue a dream of a career as a professional musician. It didn’t take long for the doors to open and over the next 17 years Eric toured the world playing and singing with artists including Lee Greenwood, Shania Twaiin, Wynonna Judd and Brad Paisley. In 2002 all of that changed. Eric surrendered to full time music ministry and hasn’t looked back since. Eric and his volunteer team spend over 250 days a year on the road ministering at churches and military bases all across the family.
