The city of Paducah has released their schedule changes for some city services during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Paducah City Hall on South 5th Street, the Parks and Recreation Office on H.C. Mathis Drive, and the Compost Facility on North 8th Street will all be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 28 and 29. The Compost Facility will reopen on Saturday. The Freedom Waste Recycling Drop-off Facility on State Street will also be closed, but only on Thanksgiving Day.

There will be no residential garbage collection on Thanksgiving Day or on Friday, November 29. Thursday's route will be collected along with Wednesday's, and Friday's route will be collected along with what is normally collected on Monday, December 2.

City officials remind residents to have their garbage rollout container in place by 4 am on the day of pickup.
