PADUCAH - Three people face charges after a search of a McCracken County home last week.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies went to a home Friday afternoon in the 6900 block of Old US Highway 45 in reference to a wanted person.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Teresea West of Paducah on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Deputies and detectives reportedly saw guns and methamphetamine in plain view. They obtained a search warrant and found more methamphetamine and marijuana.

During a search of a vehicle that belonged to 46-year-old Brandon Elias of Paducah deputies said they found additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

West and Elias were arrested and taken to McCracken County Regional Jail on possession of meth and drug paraphernalia charges.

Deputies said they later learned the guns found in the home belonged to 62-year-old David Slaughter of Paducah. He was arrested after turning himself in for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
