McCRACKEN COUNTY, KY - A three-vehicle accident on Old Mayfield Road at Walnut Drive on Friday sent one woman to the hospital.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, Roma Petty of Paducah was driving south on Old Mayfield Road when she failed to stop for two vehicles that were stopped at the intersection of Walnut Drive.

Petty struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Jonathan Ogden of Paducah. Ogden was stopped in traffic waiting for a vehicle driven by Teresa Perry, also of Paducah, to make a left-hand turn onto Walnut Drive. The force of Petty's vehicle hitting Ogden's caused his vehicle to strike Perry's.

Petty was transported to Lourdes Hospital for a laceration on her arm from the air bag.

The collision closed Old Mayfield Road for approximately half an hour.
