Police said 32-year-old Crystal G. Stevenson and a witness told them she was driving on Irvin Cobb Drive when a PATS bus turned right from Leiberman Street into her path. Stevenson said she changed lanes to avoid the bus, but it also changed lanes and hit her car. Stevenson’s car overturned several times.
Stevenson and two passengers on the bus – 41-year-old Marnetta Roddy of Oakland Circle, and 66-year-old Chloe M. Jolie, of South 9th Street – were taken to local hospitals for treatment. The driver of the bus, 78-year-old William E. O’Brien and another passenger, 75-year-old Daniel L. Brown, of Legion Drive were not injured.
