Three Injured in Blandville Road Crash

Three people were hurt Thursday morning in a crash on Blandville Road.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at around 9:30 a.m. to a crash in the 9800 block of Blandville Road. Upon arrival deputies determined that 20-year-old Peyton Carter of Wickliffe was stopped in traffic at the base of a hill waiting for a garbage truck to pick up trash. 41-year-old Ronnie Bridges of Owensboro was also stopped. Deputies said 44-year-old Gloria McNeil topped a hill and rear-ended Bridges, who then in turn struck Carter in the rear. 
 
All three drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Blandville Road was limited to one lane for about an hour after the crash.
