Tips Lead to Three Drug-Related Arrests
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - After getting numerous tips about drug activity, three people were arrested Monday evening.

Detectives from the McCracken County Sheriff's Department say they pulled over a vehicle that had just left a home in the 2700 block of Tennessee Street. The driver, 60-year-old Howard Rushing of Paducah, was known to be wanted on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous methamphetamine charge. He was arrested and was also found to have suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation continued a few hours later with execution of a search warrant at the home. Detectives say they found methamphetamine, smoking pipes, syringes, baggies, scales and other paraphernalia.

Two people in the home, 37-year-old Russell "Trent" Thompson and 39-year-old Rebecca Cole, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three people were taken to McCracken County Jail.
