Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charge in Paducah

MCCRACKEN - A Paducah woman was arrested on a drug charge Saturday morning after a traffic stop.

A McCracken County deputy said he noticed Lea Pool of Paducah driving a vehicle on John Puryear Drive. The deputy was reportedly aware that Pool had a suspended driver's license and performed a traffic stop.

During the course of the stop, deputies reportedly located 1.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

She was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

Pool is charged with operating on a suspended or revoked operator's license and first degree possession of methamphetamine.
