Trash Collection Rescheduled Due To Holiday

PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah residential trash pick-up will be on a different schedule this week due to the Independence Day Holiday.

The City of Paducah will not be collecting residential trash on Thursday, July 4. Thursday's routes will be completed on Friday, July 5. That is in addition to Friday's regular routes.

Since crews will be doubling their collection routes and adjusting shifts on Friday, citizens on Thursday or Friday collection schedules are encouraged to place trash containers at their designated collection point Thursday evening, July 4.

In addition, the City of Paducah Compost Facility located at 1560 North 8th Street will be closed on Thursday, July 4. The facility will resume normal operating hours on Friday, July 5. The regular operating schedule for the Compost Facility is Monday through Saturday, 7 am until 3 pm.

Residents with questions about the Compost Facility or the trash collection schedule may contact the Engineering-Public Works Department at 444-8567.

Paducah City Hall will also be closed on Thursday, July 4, to observe of the Independence Day Holiday.
