Trial Set for McCracken Man in Child Porn Case

PADUCAH - A McCracken County man facing child porn charges will go to trial in April.

The McCracken County Circuit Court Clerk says Russell Farmer appeared before judge Tony Kitchen Friday. Kitchen set Farmer's trial for April 8 at 9 a.m.

Farmer was arrested on July 27 after investigators say they discovered Farmer distributing prepubescent child sexual abuse material online.

He's charged with 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, eight counts of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of promoting a sexual act by a minor under 16 years old.
