Two Arrested After Lone Oak Traffic Stop

PADUCAH, KY - Two people were arrested early Thursday morning after a McCracken Sheriff's Deputy noticed suspicious activity and pulled their car over at the rear entrance to the Lone Oak Hucks on Gilhaven Drive.
The driver, 35-year -old April Gregory of Paducah was found to be driving on a license that was suspended for DUI. And the passenger, 34-year-old Wesley Griffith, was arrested on a McCracken County warrant for failing to report to jail to serve a court-ordered jail sentence. A search of the vehicle turned up items associated with drug use and the items contained residue of controlled substances.
A Paducah Police K-9 assisted during the stop.
Both Gregory and Griffith were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. Gregory was charged with driving on a DUI suspended license – second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of cocaine - second offense. Griffith was charged with a bench warrant for contempt of court.
