The McCracken County Sheriff's Office arrested two and obtained an arrest warrant for a third person over the weekend following a drug trafficking investigation.

On Friday, detectives and deputies stopped a vehicle on Lovelaceville Road driven by 35-year-old Cory Daniels.  During the stop, K9 "Oscar" alerted officers to the presence of drugs coming from the vehicle.

Detectives said they located a bag of alleged methamphetamine lying in the floorboard behind the front passenger seat. Daniels was placed under arrest.

Officers searched Daniels' home early Saturday and reportedly found Jessica Stamper in a vehicle in the driveway, passed out. Detectives said they found a small amount of suspected meth inside Stamper's vehicle, and in the home seized a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and four firearms.

Saturday detectives served a second search warrant at the home of Jeremiah Turner on Oaks Road. Turner wasn't home at the time, however during this search detectives seized 75 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, pipes, a digital scale, and counterfeit money.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Turner, for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives determined that Daniels and Turner reportedly had been receiving the methamphetamine from a source out of Clarksville.  Detectives contacted Clarksville Police and the 19th Judicial Drug Task Force who are continuing the investigation in Tennessee.

Daniels faces charges of trafficking in meth and improper vehicle equipment. Stamper faces charges of possession of meth 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were taken to McCracken County Jail.
