A Paducah pair were arrested Tuesday afternoon after police say one of them agreed to sell drugs to an undercover officer.

The Paducah Police Department says a detective arranged to buy 14 grams of methamphetamine for $410 from 39-year-old William Coles in the 2500 block of Bridge Street. Detectives said they found a small amount of meth and a handgun in the floorboard of a vehicle where the woman with Coles, 37-year-old Mindy Rodgers, was sitting. A detective also found 14 grams of meth in Rodgers' bra during a search. Coles reportedly told officers during questioning the pair had originally planned to rob the undercover detective.

Both suspects were booked into the McCracken County Jail on a charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. Coles was also charged with driving without a license.
