Two Hurt in US 45 Crash
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH, KY - Two people were hurt Wednesday afternoon in a crash near the Lone Oak area.

McCracken County Sheriff's deputies responded at around 3:30 p.m. to a crash at the intersection of US Highway 45 and Krebs Station Road. The investigation showed that 58-year-old Pamela Brann of Mayfield was driving north on Hwy 45 when another vehicle driven by 22-year-old Manikanth Lekkala of Murray pulled into her path.  Deputies said Lekkala was attempting to cross Highway 45 on Krebs Station Road when glare from the sun obstructed his view.

Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
