Two People Injured in McCracken County Crash

Two people were injured in a single car crash in McCracken County late Monday night.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, at around 9:40 pm Monday night deputies went to the 6600 block of Clinton Road the Lone Oak area. Deputies say 16-year-old Kaley Jones, of Kevil was driving along the road when she ran off the road trying to avoid an animal. 

Jones' vehicle then continued off the road, hitting a mailbox and a driveway causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times and then striking a tree. 

Kaley and her passenger 18-year-old Zachery Timmons, of Paducah were taken to Baptist Health for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
