Two at Baptist Health Paducah Named to State Board

PADUCAH - Two Baptist Health Paducah employees have been selected to serve on the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Adam Ogle, MSN, RN, CEN, who serves as the Executive Director of Emergency Services at Baptist Health Paducah, and Carl Vinson, LPN, who works in the Emergency Department, were both recently appointed to four-year terms of the Kentucky Board of Nursing by Gov. Matt Bevin.

Ogle will represent the Kentucky Nursing Association and Vinson will represent the Kentucky Licensed Practical Nurses Organization, Inc. Ogle has worked at Baptist for four years. He previously worked at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown and as a house supervisor at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Alabama. He received an associate’s degree in nursing from Elizabethtown Community & Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill., and a master’s degree in nursing administration from Western Kentucky University.

Vinson has worked at Baptist for 19 years. He graduated from the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences at Brooke Army Medical Center and Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

The Kentucky Board of Nursing protects the well-being of the public by development and enforcement of state laws governing the safe practice of
nursing, nursing education and credentialing.
