US 45 Crash Leads to Drug, Alcohol Charges

A Sunday morning crash in McCracken County resulted in two arrests.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said the single vehicle wreck happened around 3:30 am on US 45, just south of Lone Oak. Deputies said one of the occupants of the vehicle, 38-year-old Obrien Brown of Mayfield, was in possession of cocaine and prescription pills.

Brown was placed under arrest and charged with alcohol intoxication, tampering with physical evidence, possession of cocaine and trafficking in controlled substance 3rd degree drug unspecified.

Another occupant of the vehicle, 32-year-old Charles Holloway of Mayfield, was also placed under arrest for alcohol intoxication.

Both were lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.
