Unknown Burglars Get Guns, Cash, Payroll Checks

PADUCAH, KY - McCracken County Sheriff's Department is searching for those responsible for a burglary and trying to cash stolen checks.
On Friday, September 14, employees at Central Paving, 4110 Clarks River Road, reported a burglary to the business had occurred sometime during the night. It was discovered that forced entry was made into the business and several firearms, cash and payroll checks were taken.
That afternoon, two Hispanic males attempted to cash two Central Paving payroll checks at US Bank in Lone Oak, but were scared off when the tellers began asking questions. There is no suspect vehicle information at this time.
If anyone has information regarding the identity of the two suspects, please contact the McCracken County Sheriff's Department at 444-4719, or contact Crimestoppers at 443-TELL. Anyone with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect(s) may be eligible for a reward up to $1000.
