Vehicle Pursuit Ends With Arrest of Fugitive

MCCRACKEN COUNTY - The pursuit of a vehicle in McCracken County resulted in the arrest of a fugitive from Graves County.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department, deputies pursued a motorcycle on Thursday that failed to yield to emergency equipment.
The same motorcycle had been pursued a short time earlier in Marshall County, but had avoided apprehension.
Following a short pursuit, the motorcycle crashed due to a mechanical failure. After a brief struggle, the operator of the motorcycle, identified as 24-year-old Christian Tyler Grissom, of Wingo, was taken into custody.
Grissom was found to have two outstanding warrants from Graves County for prior felony charges.
He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision before being taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
