Police say that a man stabbed during a dispute Wednesday afternoon has been stabilized and remains at a local hospital. 



Paducah police were called at 5:35 pm Wednesday to the area of North 6th and Finley streets. When they arrived, they found a 58-year-old Paducah man had been stabbed.



Several witnesses have been interviewed and the case still is under active investigation. No one has been taken into custody. Officers say more information will be released as soon as possible, but due to the nature and the various aspects of the investigation they can't comment further at this time.
