Vote for Best Artwork in 'Paint the Plugs' Contest

PADUCAH, KY - All fire plugs in Lower Town are complete, which means that voting in the popular "Paint the Plugs" contest has begun.

“Paint the Plugs” is a community art project in which members of the community applied to paint specified fire hydrants with unique personal designs. This project promotes creative arts while also celebrating the arts culture in Lower Town. The 15 designs that were selected are now able to be viewed on Monroe, Madison and Harrison Streets.
 
The popular vote contest album is at our Facebook page HERE. Vote by clicking "like" next to your favorite photo on the Facebook page.
 
Voting is open to the whole community through October 13.

First, second and third place winners will be announced at the Paint the Plugs Celebration on October 13 in Lower Town, complete with live music, food and extended gallery hours. Winners will receive “PRA Bucks” to be redeemed at any business in the Renaissance Area.
