The McCracken County Sheriff's Department was called to the intersection of US 60 and Metropolis Lake Road. Deputies said 63-year-old Joann Debaun of Barlow was on US 60 and ran the stoplight at Metropolis Lake Road, due to being blinded by the sun.
Debaun's vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Angela Record of Paducah as she was crossing the intersection with US 60.
Debaun, Record, and her passenger 24-year-old Taylor Griffin, also of Paducah, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.
