Western Baptist to Show 'Grease', Talk Mammograms

PADUCAH, KY - Women who are over 40 and never had a mammogram or haven’t had one in three years or more, are invited to a free movie presented by Western Baptist Hospital’s “Baptist at the Box Office.”

The musical, “Grease,” will be shown Monday, Oct. 15, at Maiden Alley Cinema. Seating is limited to 140 guests who meet the requirements. Phone (270) 575-2851 to make a reservation.

Free admission and popcorn will be provided free from Western Baptist and Murray State University; plus there are giveaways and door prizes. Ladies are encouraged to dress in ‘50s-style attire.

Moviegoers also will get a brief medical update on breast cancer from:

· Radiologist Jennifer Brien, M.D., on the need for and accuracy of mammograms

· Community college administrator Kay Travis of Calvert City, with the breast cancer survivor’s perspective

· Baptist Imaging Center supervisor Betty Brown describing the comfort and ease of today’s digital mammograms
