McCracken County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Husbands Road about a vehicle stuck in a yard. Deputies were advised that two people had fled the vehicle.
Deputies located 49-year old Greta G. Shelbourne of West Paducah in the back yard. It was determined Shelbourne owned the vehicle and was the driver.
Deputies determined that Shelbourne was under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs. During the investigation, deputies said Shelbourne tried to discard and destroy a vial containing suspected cocaine. Once under arrest, deputies located more suspected cocaine and unidentified pills in her pants pocket, along with a pipe which contained a quantity of suspected marijuana.
Shelbourne was lodged in the McCracken County Jail on charges of DUI 2nd offense, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
Deputies were unable to locate the other person who fled the scene.
