Woman Arrested on Drug Charges in Paducah

A woman was arrested Monday on drug charges in Paducah.

At approximately 1:00 am, McCracken County Sheriff's Deputies observed a woman passed out behind the wheel of a car. The vehicle was parked and blocking a gas pump at the Five Star on Alben Barkley Drive.

The woman was identified as 52-year-old Sara Runyon of Mayfield. During a search of the vehicle, deputies allegedly located methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. They determined that she had been operating the vehicle while under the influence. 

Runyon was charged with DUI 1st offense, possession of controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was taken to the McCracken Regional Jail
