Woman Injured in Lone Oak Crash

A Paducah woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning.

McCracken Co. Sheriff's deputies responded at 10:50 am to the entrance of C-Plant Federal Credit Union and Hilliard Lyons on Bleich Road. They spoke to the driver, 54-year-old Dorothea Little, who said she was attempting to slow down in a curve when she inadvertently pressed the accelerator.

Her SUV crossed the center line and veered off the left side of the road. It hit a culvert and an embankment, before stopping at the curb for the business entrance.

Little was taken to Lourdes Hospital by Mercy EMS for treatment of her injuries.
