Work Continues at I-24 and Hwy 62 Thru Tuesday
By WestKyStar Staff
PADUCAH, KY - A contractor is continuing work at the Interstate 24 Exit 7 interchange in Paducah through Tuesday, March 26.

A lane restriction will be in place to allow crews to extend the concrete at each end of the interchange, then grind and smooth the surface.

The contractor began work Thursday night and plans to continue around-the-clock in an effort to complete the project before rehab work starts on Interstate 24 through the Paducah area. Work along the US 45/Lone Oak Road end of the interchange during this round involves concrete joint sealing and other finish work. The contractor will also be working at the US 62 end of the I-24 Exit 7 interchange.

Motorists should use caution and be alert for equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel on the road, and close to traffic flow.
