CARBONDALE, IL - A Carbondale man has been sentenced to eight years in prison following his conviction in a Union County burglary case. 

State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds said on Friday that 26-year-old Travis W. Braden received the sentence after he was convicted of stealing items from a home on Wing Hill Road in rural Union County in November, 2011.

The case was investigated by both the Williamson County and Union County Sheriff's Departments.
