IL Couple Sought In Shooting Arrested in KY

LAKE OF EGYPT, IL - Illinois State Police say two persons of interest in a Johnson County shooting earlier this week have been taken into custody in Kentucky.
The shooting was reported December 3 in the Lake of Egypt area. The victim was treated and released from an area hospital. The two individuals fled the scene of the shooting but were taken into custody Wednesday afternoon in Hopkins County, Kentucky.
The couple is identified as 41-year-old John L. Cunningham and 43-year-old Janet S. Cunningham, both of Windsor, Illinois.
Officers say the Cunninghams were taken into custody without incident at Morton's Gap Pilot truck stop. Charges against the couple include aggravated battery, armed robbery, and vehicle theft.
