A two car crash in Massac County has claimed the lives of two people.

According to Illinois State Police, the crash happened Monday shortly before 7 pm, at the intersection of Pell and Unity School Road.  

Police say 26-year-old Justin Oliver of Metropolis was driving on Pell Road when he apparently didn't stop and yield to the vehicle that was driving along Unity School Road.  

Police say the collision threw 33-year-old Brittany Miller of Brookport from the vehicle that was hit. She was declared dead at Baptist Health in Paducah. A toddler and an infant in Miller's vehicle were also taken to Baptist in an unknown condition.

Oliver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Massac County Coroner.

The crash is under investigation by the Illinois State Police.
