A Flash Flood Watch continues for a portion of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, and westernmost Kentucky through Tuesday evening.

Remnants from tropical depression Barry will impact the region with heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding.

Rainfall amounts are forecast to range from 2 to 4.5 inches across the Missouri/Illinois/Kentucky watch area, and higher in isolated areas.

A flash flood watch means that flooding conditions could occur quickly in low lying areas. Keep watch for rapidly rising waters in creeks or streams.
