Rosiclaire Woman Pleads to Sex Charge

ROSICLARE, IL - A Rosiclare Illinois woman on Friday pleaded guilty to using the internet to arrange sex acts with a minor.
The US Attorney's Office in southern Illinois says that 23-year-old Heather M. Banks issued the plea in connection to an incident on June 18, in which she attempted to induce a minor to provide her with prescription medications in exchange for sex. The charge carries a penalty of ten-years-to life in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The case was investigated by the FBI and the Hardin County State's Attorney's Office.
Banks will be sentenced December 20.
