Health Departments' Friday COVID Updates

WESTERN KENTUCKY, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - Area health departments reported several new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

The Graves County Health Department announced seven new cases of COVID, raising the county's total to 858. All of the new cases are isolating at home.

The Marshall County Health Department reported eight new cases of the virus, raising the county's total to 448. All of the new cases are isolating at home.

The Purchase District Health Department reports thirty-five new cases. The new cases include thirty in McCracken County, two cases in Fulton and Hickman Counties, and one new case in Ballard County.

The Pennyrile District Health Department said they were aware of thirteen new cases in their district. The new cases include eight in Caldwell County, and one new case each in Crittenden, Lyon, and Trigg counties.

The Southern Seven Health Department announced thirty-four new cases, raising the total number of cases across the Southern Seven region to 1,688. The new cases include four in Alexander County, eight in Johnson County, three in Massac County, four in Pope County, two in Pulaski County, and thirteen in Union County.
