The company has completed a comprehensive inspection of the plant which began on May 9 following damage to equipment and evacuation of employees. Spokesperson Peter Dalpe says there has been an investigation into the cause of the damage.
Dalpe says repairs have been made to the equipment in question, as well as changes to some work processes. There has also been renewed training with employees and contractors.
Dalpe says the company shared its findings with the union and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which had inspectors on site to observe the inspection.
