Man's Body Found in Ohio River Near Cairo

A man's body was found Monday in Alexander County.

Alexander County Sheriff Tim Brown told West Kentucky Star the body, which was found in the Ohio River, had been in the water for about a month. Brown said an autopsy revealed the body belonged to a white male between 25-35 years of age. He said the man weighed about 180 pounds, and was between 6'1" and 6'2" tall.

Brown said authorities are still working to identify the man.
