Massac Sheriff's Deputies arrested three people Thursday after discovering an active methamphetamine lab at 615 Johnson St in Metropolis.

Deputies arrested 47 year-old Pamela Davis, of Metropolis, 42 year-old Shane Lingle, of Carbondale, and 40 year-old Kimberly Cowin of Massac County on charges of aggravated participation in meth manufacturing and possession of meth manufacturing materials.

Sheriff Ted Holder said the arrests were the result of an ongoing investigation by the Sheriff's Office and more arrests will likely follow. The Illinois State Police Meth response team is on scene for the clean up.
