Massac Man Arrested in Metropolis Shootings Case

An arrest has been made in Monday night shootings at two Metropolis homes.

At around 9:00 pm Monday, 911 calls were received that two homes on Hayden Lane had been struck by bullets. Witnesses described a vehicle fleeing the area, and after interviewing the victims 33-year-old Allen D. Storm, of Massac County was identified as a person of interest.

During the course of the investigation, evidence was gathered and Storm was arrested.

Storm is being held at the Massac County Detention Center on one count of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. Additional charges are expected.
