METROPOLIS, IL - Two people were arrested Wednesday after a month-long investigation by the Massac County Sheriff’s Department.
 
Sheriff Ted Holder told the Paducah Sun the department received numerous complaints about a home on West 11th Street in Metropolis. Deputies conducted a search, and a methamphetamine lab was found and seized. A quantity of meth and drug paraphernalia were also found.

Deputies arrested 43-year-old Anthony Harris and 42-year-old Peggy Lane. The two face charges of manufacturing meth, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Massac County Detention Center.
