PADUCAH, KY - Almost 24 hours after being reported missing, a McCracken County man was located unharmed, according to the Paducah Sun.
58-year-old Doyle E. Morris had last been seen about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at 6920 McNeil-Alsip Road and was reported missing by family members about 7 pm.
After searching into the early evening using night vision equipment, deputies and emergency workers suspended their search until daylight Thursday.
About 8:45 a.m. Thursday, a passing motorist spotted Morris walking along a road several miles from his residence, offered him a ride and notified deputies, said Detective Capt. Matt Carter. Morris, whose family said he might be in an early stage of dementia, is believed to have stayed with a friend.
