After several months of searching, one of Massac County’s most wanted was captured Sunday night.

44 year old Jeffery Ogle was captured at a camper in Joppa.

Tips led deputies to scout the area for the past few days, and with more information on Sunday, Massac County Deputies and members from the Illinois State Police and the Metropolis Police Department went to the campsite where Ogle was found and taken into custody without incident.

Ogle is currently charged in Massac County with Violation of an Order of Protection and Intimidation. Evidence found at the scene of the arrest will have deputies asking for additional charges to be filed for Theft of Government property, fleeing and resisting arrest, theft, and criminal damage to property stemming from prior incidents.

The Pope County Sheriffs Office will also be filing charges for Residential Burglary, and theft. Ogle is being held without bond pending his appearance in court Tuesday.
