HARDIN COUNTY, IL - A motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon in Hardin County, IL claimed the life of a Wentzville, MO man.

Illinois State Police say 59-year-old Timothy W. Scott was heading east on Lamb Road about half a mile west of Tucker Hill Road at 2:22 PM when he lost control and swerved off the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle then rolled about 15 feet down an embankment.

Scott was transported to Hardin County Hospital by Hardin County EMS, where he was pronounced dead at 5:09 PM.
