Stolen Vehicle Report Leads to KY Man's Arrest

A Hopkins County, Kentucky man was arrested Thursday in Metropolis on a stolen vehicle charge.

According to the Metropolis Police Department, Paducah Police notified them that a stolen vehicle might be in Metropolis or headed that way. Metropolis Police found the vehicle in the parking lot of Acee's convenience store on 5th Street and watched it to identify a suspect. 

Police arrested 35-five-year-old Jonathan F. Meints of Hanson, Kentucky. As they took him into custody, police say they found methamphetamine on him.

Meints was taken to Massac County Detention Center on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of meth.
