Damage reports came in all day Wednesday to the West Kentucky Star newsroom from across western Kentucky and southern Illinois after fast-moving storms ripped off roofs and toppled trees and power poles.

In Lone Oak, Magnolia Village by Los Amigos across from KFC received damage to their building.

Damage occurred to Broadway Methodist Church in downtown Paducah, as well as the northern facade of the 10-story tall U.S. Bank building.

A large tree fell across Old Mayfield Road near Berger Road, blocking traffic in both directions.

Debris on roadways was common, and power lines came down on many roads.

In Massac County, crews worked into Wednesday night to replace broken utility poles.

In Lyon County:  Several trees were down along Highway 730 near Kentucky Lake, and at least one out building has been damaged. Keith Todd with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says all state highways in Lyon County are now passable.

In Graves County: A garage was destroyed.  Several homes were damaged with at least one person reportedly getting trapped inside their mobile home.  A barn was destroyed as well.

In Murray, The Murray Police Department said no major damage was reported in the city. Calls to them included multiple business alarms set off, minor debris on roadway, one report of a tree down, some street signs blown down, power out temporarily in a few sections of the city, and a car off in a ditch due to poor visibility during storm, no injury.

In Calloway County, Airport Road was closed from KY 121 to Poor Farm Road because of a downed tree and power lines.
