Two Men Who Drowned in Ohio River Identified

JOPPA, IL - Authorities have identified the man and his nephew who drowned in the Ohio River in southern Illinois.
Investigators say 50-year-old Delbert Snell and 26-year-old William Burkhead of Grand Chain drowned Monday night near Joppa in Massac County.
Authorities say Burkhead was swimming when he began to struggle. His uncle tried to rescue him, but both men drowned.
Searchers found the bodies nearby Tuesday.
