Wanted Metropolis Man Arrested on Several Charges

METROPOLIS - A wanted Metropolis man was arrested Friday on drug and other charges.

The Metropolis Police Department says an officer saw 34-year-old Kyle Hurst, who was wanted on a warrant for an EPO violation, inside Big John’s Grocery Store.

The officer arrested Hurst on the warrant. He was also found with methamphetamine and hydrocodone.

Hurst was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Massac County Detention Center.
