Woman Arrested for Battery After Facebook Argument

A Massac County woman was arrested Thursday after a disturbance at a home.

Metropolis Police were called to a home on West 20th Street and spoke to three women. They said 48-year-old Gloria E. McCaleb of Metropolis came to the home and started yelling and threatening them. The women signed a complaint, saying McCaleb came onto the porch, attacked one of them, and broke a cell phone. 

Police found McCaleb about a block away, and she admitted she came to the home. She said she had been arguing with the women on Facebook and had, "had enough." 

McCaleb was arrested for battery, damage to property and disorderly conduct. She was taken to Massac County Detention Center.
