Woman Stabs Traveling Companion at I-24 Exit

GOREVILLE, IL - A North Dakota woman is in custody after allegedly stabbing a companion Monday night, while traveling on I-24.
Illinois State Police responded to the incident at exit 7 in Johnson County. They found the victim, 47-year-old Monique Alleman, and located the suspect, 45-year-old Dianna Bickford nearby. The two women were allegedly traveling together when the stabbing occurred.
Bickford was arrested and jailed, pending formal charges. Alleman was treated by Johnson County EMS at the scene.
