One man was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Graves County Thursday. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 8:15 am on State Route 80 West near Fancy Farm. A contractor for the Cairo bridge project has asked that work on the on the structure be delayed until after July 7, so that trucking and supply companies affected by the work can have plenty of time to prepare alternate routes. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed Springhill Road (KY 2206) in Hickman County due to a damaged bridge.
