According to Kentucky State Police, the wreck happened around 1:45 pm on KY 293, approximately three miles south of Princeton. Troopers said 78-year-old Betty Kilgore lost control of her vehicle and it left the right side of the road and overturned.
Kilgore was pronounced dead at the scene by the Caldwell County Coroner. Her front seat passenger, 78-year-old Francis L. Kilgore, was transported to Caldwell County Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
