AT&T Customers Report Issues Connecting Calls

Some AT&T wireless customers in western Kentucky have reported problems with their service.

The issues reportedly began Wednesday afternoon, with thousands of customers on social media reporting they were unable to make and receive calls. The problem appeared to affect both Android and iphone devices.

The company advised users to restart their devices to fix the issue. They released the following statement Wednesday regarding the outage:

“We are aware of an issue affecting some users’ ability to make certain wireless calls. These users should restart their devices, which should resolve the issue.”

The website Downdetector.com has received more than 12,000 reports of issues making and receiving calls from AT&T customers since 3 p.m. Wednesday.
